This is a Weller Flemish Vase. 8 3/4" tall and the diameter at the top is 2 1/2" and the diameter at the base is 2 3/4. Weller Pottery was established in 1872 by Samuel A. Weller and operated until 1945.Originally located in Fultonham, Ohio, the factory moved to Zanesville in 1882. This vase was part of the Woodcraft Line (Flemish) produced between 1920 and 1933. The Woodcraft line featured rustic designs simulating the appearance of stumps, logs and tree trunks and many other natural elements. This example combines a beautiful rose, with a ribbon and the rose is placed upside down. Many tones of color were used with green ranging from a dark cucumber green to a light fern green.
There are also many tones of brown, yellow ochre and purple. This vase does not have any chips, cracks or repairs. As you can see in the pictures, this vase is in excellent condition. This Weller vase is amazing and you won't be disappointed should you decide to add it to your collection!
