Vintage Fulper Art Pottery Vase Crystalline Leopard Skin Green Angular Handles

Vintage Fulper Art Pottery Vase Description and Item Information Up for sale is this vintage Fulper art pottery vase. Please excuse the glare in the photos. This beautiful pot has the variegated green glaze with brown highlights that is known as leopard skin. There are crystalline areas which shimmer in the light. The vase has two angular handles, similar to a Greek key motif. This piece stands about 4 3/4 inches tall, and it is approximately 6 1/8 inches long by 6 inches wide. This piece has a nice, tactile quality, due to its weight.

Unpacked, it weighs 2 pounds 0.9 ounce. This pot would be a great addition to a collection of vintage American art pottery. Identification This piece of Fulper pottery has a glaze-obscured, oval black mark beneath.

It is guaranteed to be vintage Fulper pottery from New Jersey. Condition The vase looks great overall, but it is not in perfect condition, as found.

There are repairs to both handles. I have shown the repair areas in Photos 6 and 7.

Aside from this, there are no cracks or post-factory chips. There is a small indent to the exterior rim, as made (visible in Photo 3, about one third of the way toward the center from the right). Excess glaze was ground off of the base, as made, and there are a couple of very small grinding flakes to the glaze at the foot. Variations in glazing are also as made. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made. And international government regulations prohibit such behavior.
